The release of their single "Creep" skyrocketed thr group to fame. This was only cemented by the release of the albums 'The Bends' (1995) and critically aclaimed 'Paranoid Android' (1997) where the group cemented their place by developing their "Huge-sounding, chillingly beautiful" take on the rock genre and delving further into an exploration of "dark, dense textures".
Overcome by the pressure, success and monotony of promoting their previous album, the band takes the time to redevelop their sound and identity. With the albums 'Kid A' (2000) and 'Amnesiac' (2001), the band strays away from the traditional rock sound fans knew and loved and leaned much more heavily into heavily electronic, orchestral and textured soundscapes. This evolution in sound, hallmark to Radiohead's brand and image, continued on further into subsequent albums "Hail to the Thief" (2003) and the more mellow, dreamy "In Rainbows" (2007)... (TBC).
